How to plan a romantic weekend with your lover!

Simplicity is key. Simple getaways are more romantic and spontaneous than all those elaborate ones. Skip the plane reservations, instead, make a weekend reservation at your favorite nearby resort. Preplan what you'll do there: concerts, dining, movies. Ask at the front desk the best places to see in town at that time of year (do this when you arrive, the reservation folks these days are usually clueless as to the surroundings of their hotel properties). Or check in with TripAdvisor.com... they feature great recommendations from people who have been there, done that.

Glub! Glub! Fun in the Tub! - Make a reservation at a hotel near where your wife or husband works. Call and tell him/her where to meet you. Have candles lit and your hot tub filled with bubbles. Meet them at the door and get ready for some great sex. Bring your CD player to set the mood.

Bring several of your own things - Make your getaway like a home-away-from home, bring special glasses, incense, candles, flower vases, lotions and oils for a lover's massage.

Remember their hobbies - Tailor your romantic getaway around what your lover loves to do! Hobbies, art, shopping, antiques, dancing, architecture.... the list goes on and on, and your lover will be thrilled that you are doing this for them.

Romance on the cheap! - You don't need to always pay full price for a romantic vacation. You can plan to stay at a great resort during the slow season, just call the resort office and ask when the rates are cheapest. Doesn't matter that others won't be there... you'll want some privacy anyway!

Not too many secrets! -- Be coy as you make your plans. But don't spring the weekend trip on your lover, they may have an important chore to do that particular weekend. Hint around, ask "Wouldn't it be nice to go to _____ next weekend?" Then make the reservation, and call them with the sexy invite!
